Millions die every year trying to come to the US from Mexico. Why? Mexico sucks. So does Cuba. It isn't really that much a political issue as it is an economic issue. It's all about the money, stupid.

What a pair of stupid wankers! If they wanted the big money, they should have defected in Italy.
And "running down a street in LA"? They're lucky they weren't shot by some greaser-hating, trigger-happy LA cop.
"Castro's hell"? Compared to what, the U$A???

CI,
playing soccer you can make much more money playing in Italy then in the U.S. This thread is about two Cubans defecting to the U.S. to play soccer, not to partake in any business activities.

the reason why people are comming to the us is becasue of human greed, they want in on money, adn your proaganda compaigns saying how safe and good your counrty is.
this happened to me. when i wne tinto the states for a vaction couple of years back. i was in tocoma, and within 20 shoping around stores i gto mugged. and there was a police officer ust aorund the cornor. and i tell him the siutaion, and his respone was thats waht u get for being canadian.

Hold on the current Cuban state was fought for and supported by Che Guevara. Remember that before his death in 1967, Che had been fighting and supporting Cuba for 7 years and within those 7 years there was no freedom of speech, one political party and Castro had been ruling for 7 years unoppossed. So please don't distance Che from the modern day communist system in Cuba. Che knew what he was fighting for, otherwise he wouldn't have giving his life away from the cause that manifested itself in the Cuban revolution.

You people who write Che's hell or Castro's hell are wrong. That island is not a hell, it is the most prosporous nation in Latin America. Millions and millions of Mexicans migrate every year to the US, far more thabn Cubans. At least Cubans have healthcare, education, homes, and some food. Where as in the rest of Latin America, a couple of thousand people live luxurious lives, and tens of millions starve or dehydrate or just get sick and die. Where is the humanity?

This place is only a hell because of the embargo imposed against the Cuban island. No imports, no exports. (ok, I admit it, this is debatable, but not enough goes in or out for the island to make a profit. Cuba really isn't a hell compared to other countries anyway, look at the countries that have weak educational systems, poor healthcare, most of the Cubans live lives that are much more condensed with knowledge than 10% of the smartest Americans. You can't refer to somebody who made all this posible (Che, Castro) responsible for the place's asthetic look or food problems brought about by the embargo.
Be ashamed, to those of you who have insulted Castro or Che.
