Can you recommend any red skinhead bands? I'd be specifically interested in skin bands with red/leftist attitudes, not just anti-racist ones. I hear there's quite a few good RASH/redskin bands in Italy and Spain?

NON SERVIUM!! (they sing in spanish but my friend says they sing in castilian)
brigada flores magon (they have a song called RASH)
oi pollio (they are anti-communist but pro-anarchist)
those are the best ones in my opinion.

Thanks for your tips. I had never heard of Non Servium before, who redSHARP recommended. Checked them out last night and thought they were awesome! Real rough'n'ready brickwall Oi.
I also stumbled upon this old working class band called Banda Bassotti:

Not sure if they're a pure skinhead band, but it looks like they have a large skinhead fan base in Italy, and at least some of the band members are skins. Some of their songs lean towards punk, others towards two tone ska. They play some GREAT covers of old communist songs, such as for example this one:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RrEf_hgLFp8
('Fischia il vento' - a WW2 Italian partisan anthem whose original melody was taken from a Soviet song called 'Katyusha')
or this one:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXIidPrMdAI&feature=related
('Bella Ciao' - another partisan song)
They also do a cover of 'Comandante Che Guevara' somewhere, but I can't find it right now.
I love this band. Hope you enjoy!

Non Servium and Brigade Flores Magnon are my favourites so far - thanks for that.
Klasse Kriminale and Boisterous: you guys sure these bands are red or anarchist? I was always under the impression they're just plain non-racist, apolitical Oi.
EDIT: By the way, don't you think RASH is a nice example for commies and anarchists sticking together?

I really like Oi Polloi, but their politics kind of suck. I like their positions on anti-fascism, but when it comes to the environmental issues, I feel like they're way too "green anarchy wooo". Anyway, they're still a really good band and I'd recommend them, even if they're not specifically a skinhead band.

As for Boisterous, they are one of my favourite oi! bands.
If you are unsure about their political views, here's just a couple of the song titles:
Working class man
Have you forgotten about your class
Poor man's revenge
I strongly reccomend them.

Hmm... Oi bands, esp the British ones, always had working class rhetoric without necessarily being left-wing. Bands such as The Last Resort (who also had a song "Working Class Kids") were actually nationalist and fairly right-wing. Or look at a band like Condemned 84: plenty of 'working class' songs, but these guys are ultra-nationalists.
It's very common in the UK to be proud of being working class and to celebrate traditional British working class culture - but that doesn't say anything about your political views.

Wow, no one put Inadaptats. Its a redskin/catalonian independence band and is definatley one of my favorites. Just type "Orgull De Classe" into youtube, since I can't post videos or links yet. It is definatley what you're looking for.

Good call on Insurgence Record.
However, I'd avoid Mad Butcher records like the plague as the owner Mike is well known to rip off bands, artists and other labels. I should know as he has ripped me off in the past. He still owes me money for 45 copies of the Redskins tribute EP 'A Flame That Can't Be Dimmed' which he has never paid anything for. He has also ripped off Detour Records, Redskins (no song writers fees were paid on the recent reissue of the live album) and a numbers of other bands.

Probably all been listed in this post before, but here are my favourites;
The Oppressed
The Blaggers/Blaggers I.T.A/Blaggers A.K.A.
Stagebottles
Los Fastidios
and currently Bottlejob from Hackney. Oi Oi.
Generally keep an eye out for any bands that do Antifa or any other anti-fascist benefit gigs. That's how I've discovered some in the past.
