I love the classical spanish guitar. But I don't know how to play it, it never seems to come out good, being self-taught and all : / What tuning do they use for classical guitars usually? It sounds so beautiful.

It varies with tuning, but I find its largely just standard tuning .
The quality of the guitars being used, however, and the techniqual profiency of the guitarists is what really gives the pieces such a beautiful sound, and makes them so unique.

I've been learning classical guitar (been playing punk/rock/indie, etc for years now), and just learning techniques and chords that I would've just never thought of. The guitar becomes so much more greater, more diverse and bigger when you learn the different ways of playing it - from jazz to punk to classical to ska to indie to whatever else.

The difficulty for me is finger picking - using my index, middle and 'ring' finger is a real pain in the ass, especially because my 'ring finger' is so much weaker than the other two.
