British journalist channels the strange but original mind of Vladimir Illyich Ulanov (Lenin) over time in this often humorous "diary" of the great man. Lots of inside jokes re Russian life and the protracted gnawing on the bone of revolution which was the marrow of Lenin's life. Written in the '70s I believe. Much fun, nothing like Lenin's own rather prosaic writings.
