i came back from DC, our nations capital (for some of us). it wasnt eye-opening, exactly, beacuse my eyes are open. but it was very reaffirming. it was the first time in my life i have seen a man so poor that he cannot shelter himself, next to a million dollar monument that is utterly useless but worth more than this man can dream of.
