We're making loads of money from AIDS drugs, think about it, we've got millions of people, all needing the drugs, they have to spend like £20 a day for them, that's like the profits the profits. And they're infecting other people, more profit, more profit. But what if we got a vaccine, well it might got £20 to produce the vaccine but then what? then they decide to give it to everyone, and where does that leave our lovely profits from AIDS drugs? Ah well, let's not make a vaccine, it's more worthwhile just letting people die.
Hey we're gonna run out of natural gas sometime, let's burn this nice gas that's coming out of this oil field, after all, it's not economically viable to store it.
I love societies that value money over everything else.
