Nothing like pointing out mere flaws to make useless and entire post, heh. But whatever. No really, I do disagree with the US education system in how they stress more over memorisation than the actual learning process. It's all too general and all too bland. Numbers, dates, these things are for notes not for my head. Everyone has a topic they're interested in and I really wish we did more in the US school system to emphasis this point.

In my highschool all they did was say, "okay you need these classes to graduate..." - "but I need this for my intrests" - "no sorry sched conflict, you need X amount of X classes to graduate".

And of course, in the class you sit and listen to whatever the lecture is, write duplicate copies of the teachers notes (I can't stand this shit; "what was that last part?" or "what does this come under?" - paraphrase and absorb you ignorant ass!! , do a project, take some tests, and your through. Credit recieved and you still haven't learned shit - or you've learned minimal shit.
