Happy Birthday Che!!

Yesterday, June 14th 2008 Ernesto would of being 80 years old. To conmemorate this day, for the first time in Argentina, the city where he was born, Rosario, showed a statue of him. It was made with 75000 bronze keys (melted, of course) donated by 15000 people from many places in Latin America. The author was the argentinian sculptor Andres Zerneri. It is 4.5 meters tall and weights 1.5 tons. In the inauguration of the Square "Che Guevara", you could see all of his five children, Alberto Granados and Carlos 'Calica' Ferrer and other authorities.
