on one of the discovery channels or the history channel here in the u.k. there was a programme called "the russian revolution in colour" i have managed to miss this every time it has been on, which is a bugger as i wanted to record it. can anyone help me out on where to purchase this, if indeed it is for sale. i went on amazon and found what i thought was it but im not sure ifts been abridged or the whole series!! anyone help me?

Why go to the trouble for them. I don;t think they are especially good documentaries at all. I suggest you watch them via Youtube if you want to:

It's a nice piece of liberal propaganda (against revolution of course). It uses Kronstadt to devide the whole Revolution with it's participants into two camps: the idealists (Kronstadt) and the dictators (Bolsheviks). Also notice the voice :(.

i have watched the first couple of parts on youtube and its o.k. but not what i had hoped it to be! i guess i should have known better!!:(

thanks for that, the review is pretty spot on. i watched it all on youtube and it was alright for what it was!
