Yeah Rammstein are a great band.

By chance have you heard of a Slovenian band called Laibach? If not then i recommend that you listen to their stuff as it's really good and similar to Rammstein (Though Laibach have been going for far longer than Rammstein).

Damn Rammstein is fucking sweet. My favorites by them are probably "Adios", "Mutter", "Engel", and "Mann Gegen Mann", and I still have yet to listen to "Du Hast". The vocalist is great and the music itself is, well, awesome!

Yup,Laibach is the band that formed Rammstein's sound.
They are a shock rock band,with good attitude(Laibach is the name of capital,Ljubljana while it was occupied by the nazis).

BLASPHEMY!!! Laibach are goddamn geniuses! (Their first albums are masterworks of minimalism and sample-based music, and perfect for greating a gloomy WW1-trench atmosphere). To the gulag with you!

But besides them, you all oughta check out Knorkator. They have a few similarities to Rammstein (tanz-metal style, classical influence) but also lots of really unique stuff (they actually can write a pretty good pop song, there's a lot more bombast, they don't take themselves too seriously, and the singing ranges from goofy falsetto voices to insane shrieking noises, to 4-part operatic singing).

In my opinion, Rammstein kinda got worse after each album. Of course, every once in a while they still produce a gem, but they have yet to release something as cool as Herzleid.
