It looks like BNP members won't be playing their nazi marching songs this year

From Indymedia:

Red White Blue Festival licence refused

The BNP got a sharp kick in the teeth onece again this evening. The Amber council sitting in Ripley Town hall, refused the application for a licence to hold the RedWhite and Blue festival in Denby Village in August.
Locl residents and Objectors from round the country turned out to the Council chambers to oppose the fascists. At least 40 police and fit team made a cordon to keep left and right apart.
Durring the application the police stated that due to the obvious confrontation that would ensue between left and right during the gathering they were opposing the event, unless a Glastonbury style 10 feet high wall is errected with floodlights and so many badge security per 100 attendees.
The BNP spat their dummies well and truly out on the floor and stormed out. Alan Warner the Denby Parish councilor former tory and BNP convert who has hosted the event in the past scurried away with his body guard Clarke in tow.
Clarke in his ill fitting suit, whilst sweating profusely claimed loudly to the council that the police were clearly in cahoots with the left.
Members of the BNP whilst hiding behind their children at the front of the town hall looked on in despair at yet another victory for local residents and the Nottingham Stop the BNP and anti fascists across the country.

Haha nice one Amber council!

These racists shouldnt be allowed to hold any sort of public gatherings to spew their vile lies.

Well Holden Caulfield, you may get your wish: just read on Lancaster Unity that according to Ripley and Heanor News the BNP are still going ahead with their dickhead fash fest.

Like chided children, the BNP stormed out of the council licensing meeting after their police mates (unusually) objected to the BNP festival.

As far as one can see the police objected not on political grounds but because of the threats of "left wing violence".

Well that isn't that bad. That was for decades a working antifa technique xD
If nazis say they are marching someone just tell them antifa is coming so they forbid it. Actually on legal grounds at least here its not that easy to forbid a march or festival of a legal party... if there is going to be riots its a lot easier

At what date will this (perhaps) take place if they go threw with it?

I went to the anti BNP march on saturday and noticed that UAF were handing out leaflets about the Red White and Blue Fest, I asked them if it had been dropped by the council and they said that the the BNP had decided to not do have any music and that the Fest was still on.

As theres gonna be no beer or music for these nazi scumfucks there shouldn't be as many there as there usually would be so this looks like a good opportunity.
