WE learn a lot about them, but they are not perfect, one cant justify every thing he says omly because one of this writters said it. WE cant base all our ideology in those guys. they lived a century ago, things changed. WE need new ideas. we can base what we think on their books, but we cant say their thoughts werent uthopic, we must centralise in achieving real things
i feel it his way, although y believe some things they say, there are a lot that seem uthopic.
The only guy i admire almost everything, is Che. ANd he indeed lived near our generation

I know.. That's why I usually don't care about all these labels (Marxist, Leninist, Trotskyist, Stalinist, Maoist, whatever). It just divides us, and we bicker over stupid insignificant things like 'Weather or not Lenin likes Stalin!'.

Exactly right, Mal.
We should respect Marx for the genious socialogist and economist that he is and recognize that most of his predictions have come true. What he never foresaw was regulation of capitalism. Revolution was avoided by the ruling class making some consessions...they are now taking their former power back. Marx wasn't wrong, he just didn't have a perfectly accurate vision for the future...the timescale was a little off and he may have been wrong about the neccesity of a huge violent revolution. The revolution will probably come when our limited democracy starts working against the ruling class' interests and they will not give up power.

well, by learning about these things we can have like some kind of base. kinda like a starting point, by looking at what ppl in the past did we can learn and use their ideas to make up our own. you need to hear other ppls ideas like CHE's ideologies we can make up our own.
AH!! I JUST CONFUSED MYSELF.
okay, we need these ideas to start out and see how these ideas and actions ended up, then we can use what we learned and make up our own ideas.
never mind its hard to explain.

It really is not about names. It is about political science.
How do we understand the world we live in and how can we change it. Something we learn all of our lives.

Something that you have proven you know nothing about. Come on professor, why don't you explain political science to me. Of course, I am only interested if you can provide your own thought rather than providing a link to article. I see why you are a communist. You are to lazy to do any actual work. Prove me wrong.

Well despite your politeness or lack of it. Here goes.
I shall start with the truism that 'no man is an island'.
Science cannot be plucked out of one's thumb or gained
by pure abstraction. It involves the practical study of history. History is a large subject it covers all the sciences, in the case of politics it begins with the Greeks
till the present which is best represented by the likes of Chomsky. However, we should not neglect any of the major thinkers who have been influential, from Adam Smith to Hegel. All of them recognise to some degree the scale of class struggle in society. Marx was the first to realise that the modern working class being a growing majority of the world's population had the potential to end class society. This political theory has never been disproved. The Capitalist class and their chumps,
hate this theory as it rests on the idea of a universal humanity which opposes wars and greed.
The chumps continually tell us lies about history to disprove this theory. They tell us that Stalinism is communism and not the defeat of it. This is the very essence of modern bourgeois political science as represented by the likes of Karl Popper. One big fucking lie that SN has swallowed completely.

LMFAO!
Sorry, I found that to be quite amusing. Thanks for the response. I will have to come back at a later date and give you the honest critique that you deserve for acknowledging the question. For now, I must work on a number of Statics problems. I will return.
