Supercomputer sets petaflop pace (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/7443557.stm)

"We are getting closer to simulating the real world," Bijan Davari, vice president of next generation computing systems at IBM, told BBC News

It would be of particular use for calculating risk in financial markets, he said.

"The latency of the calculations is so small that for all practical purposes it is real time." With computing capacity like this there really exist no technical limits to economic planning anymore.

What's happening to me? I feel myself giving in, letting them have their way. I don't feel like fighting them anymore. I think I'm not as worried about what happens anymore. I seem to see some comfort in the way everything is being planned for me. I never have to worry about what to do. Maybe this is the best way. I'm suppoed to be free now, letting them worry about taking care of me. I have no more problems - they have them all - yeah! I do feel more relaxed. MAybe even relaxed enough to smile. Maybe even to laugh, hahaha... I want to laugh hahaha! To laugh, hahahahaha! I'm free, hahahahahahahahahahahaha...
