I'll let the news articles speak for themselves.
Newspaper Articles that concern Cuba's Youth and their form of rebellious music.

Che Guevara was crazy.
Truly a Rebel without a Cause!
No Cause what so ever, just a hatred for the USA - his only motivation. Crazy Argentinian Tyranny at the expense of Cuban Lives. Now that is crazy.
The Ignorant Youth of Europe, Canada, and even some in USA may worship him.
But I assure you that the Knowledgeable Youth of Cuba hate him. They truly know what his revolution has led to.
Slavery, pure evil slavery.
They hate how his ugly face is posted everywhere in the Tourist Paradise - where every citizen is your servant or whore.

Capitalist,
Why is that when Cuban Rappers rap about problems with the police and the gov't, they are considered advocates for a free Cuba and proof that the Cuban gov't is unpopular and must be overthrown...but when African-American, Puerto Rican, Mexican...etc Rappers rap about police brutality, the gov't and poverty, they are speaking rubbish and should be ignored?

Yeah, the "bling bling, look at my dancing hoes" Rappers are the ones who look stupid and are giving the wrong message to their people. However, what I wrote didn't have much to do with Capitalism or Socialism, just the simple question on why one set of rappers speak the "truth" while the others don't. They both suffer poverty, both suffer police brutality, both suffer discrimination. It might be more extreme on either side of the spectrum, but they both have suffered and Rap about it.

Capitalist,
Did you even read those articles? What were you trying to prove? Cuban Rappers might voice opposition to the Cuba gov't and system, but that doesn't mean they support the USA and it's policies. Therefore, these Rappers advocating change aren't neccessarily advocating to become another Argentina; doing whatever the USA tells them to.
Quotes:
"But I am not with either Castro or Bush. And there are many people like me."
"Cuban rap songs include anti-American lyrics, such as protests against the U.S. Navy's use of the Puerto Rican island of Vieques for bombing exercises and against the four-decade-old U.S. trade embargo on Cuba."

You're brain is fried Capitalist. You're not even Imperial, you're half baked, hung out to dry, insane, mad, crazy, delusional, distressed, dismayed. Go back to seaworld (http://www.seaworld.com). Your powers of propaganda are pretty redundant here.

You commies can all quit by putting your ignorant words into my mouth.
I do not support Imperialism.
I support Capitalism = Freedom of Enterprise = Freedom to own your own business = Freedom that people in Communist countries are denied = Freedom to contribute to your society and expect payment in return.
I support the destruction of Tyrant Nations.
I support killing tyrants.
The facts speak for themselves, people in Cuba are enslaved by their tyrant Fidel Castro and the communist government that Che Guevara founded.
The facts overwhelmingly speak for themselves. If you closed minded fools would read the newspapers - forget the history books - read what is going on NOW!
The thousands that die trying to cross shark infested waters from Cuba to Florida is proof alone that Cubans prefer democracy over socialism.
1/5 of the Cubans live in exile - a country that is nearly impossible to escape.

First of all, I'm not communist.
Second, I read newspapers everyday. However, I don't think that you do. Especially the newspaper links you provided. They pretty much didn't prove your point. Yes, they are angry about their gov't, but aren't most radical musicians in the world? Also, those Rappers aren't preaching pro-americanism. They have anti-american lyrics, as one article stated.
No, Cubans leaving Cuba come to the USA because they believe there are more opportunities there. That doesn't prove that they hate Fidel Castro or Ché Guevara. Some might and many do once they settle into the USA and soak in the Cuban-exile propoganda. Are Mexicans leaving México and dying by the thousands every year, leaving México because of political reasons? Are Dominicans dying by the hundreds to get to Puerto Rico, leaving for political reasons? Are Bolivians struggling to come into Argentina, leaving for politics? No, for economic reasons. However, that doesn't prove that socialism doesn't work.(I'm not a huge supporter of Cuba and it's economic system anyway.) All the countries I've mentioned, that their people are emmigrating from, having Capitalist foundations. Does that prove Capitalism doesn't work? No. Different systems work for different cultures and countries.

Wow, Capitalist! That was a crushing defeat...how do you plan to retrieve your testicles after that show of complete idiocy?
Um, what are trying to prove capitalist? Those links prove what? That Cuban youth are angry? Sure, so aren't youth everywhere!! The Cuban rap groups, if you know much of anything about Cuban rap, are actually pro-socialism. Many disagree with Castro, but that does not mean they want American capitalism!!
Cuba is not perfect, nor is it a communist paradise. Anyone that thinks that is kidding themselves. Cuba has problems like every country. The people that try to leave Cuba leave in pursuit of dreams that will not be fulfilled in america for many. "The American Dream" is a myth that is perpetuated by our media throughout the world. You also need to realize that there were some very powerful people in cuba before the revolution. These people were doing very well before che and fidel. As soon as fidel came into power they fled. They see the errors that fidel has made and play those up to make people think that they would have been better off without fidel.
You also need to realize that there are anti-castroists that are socialist. Perhaps if che were to have lived he might agree with these people.

Great post, but I already posted exactly this already, lol. :) I know that it's sometimes boring, but you should read all the posts on a thread before posting, to prevent things like this from happening.
