Saw his address to the labour party today. Hehe, the guy is smart i`ll give you that and he can play that podium like not many can.
He`s a fox alright, but if you can get past the bullshit (coz thats what it (his personality and rethorical skills) is really. Such things as style are an inescapable fact of life for us humans for we are not machines; but they relate merely to form, to be seperated from content. Though Mr. Clinton gets an A+ on form he gets a D- in content.) though you`ll see that he and what he stands for just aint good enough. There`s worse, namely the conservative "hardcore" right-wing, but it just falls short of the mark. Close but no ciggare "esse".

I know this guy who has had a long serious conversation with him, and he really listens to you when you talk to him, unlike with other right-wingers.

Clinton only looks like he's listening and only tells you what you want to hear. He really excels at those things. Lots of people with anti-social personality disorder seemingly have good interpersonal skills.
If you want my opinion of where Clinton should currently be then check out track #6 of Led Zeppelin III.

Sounds like my old friend, my head master (sarcasm). i went to him to tlak aobut my ex when he got suspended for kissing another guy in public and he sounded really reasonable, until a month or so later I realsied I'd been conned, that guy would really make it as a politician, he belongs in hell (not that i think it exists on any level, but I'm sure we could create one just for him and the other slimy bastards out there).

Clinton not a machine, more like he is good at displaying
a human posture that fakes his actual condition.

On thing he said that stuck in my mind was that "our common humanity matters more than our interesting differences". He also attacked the american and british right in a funny sort of way. On Iraq he didn`t stray far from the mainstream position but he sounded more like a moderate europian than a american. Among other things he said that afganistan should still be the primary focuss of the "war on terrorism" and that regime changed should be perssued by peaceful means. He also acknowledged the west had grave responsibilities in the worst atrocities commited in Iraq.
Donīt know if he would say the same if he was in office though.

The American presidency has a funny effect on people...I wonder if there will ever be a female or black president.

Or gay, or working class, or left-wing, or honest, or just??
Nah...doubt it.

Well, Both Al Sharpton and Hillary Clinton are planning to run in 2006, I believe both are Democrats though and Elizabeth Dole, Republican.
