The biggest revolutionary concert of the year!
Event organizer Chang Weisberg of Guerilla Union is thrilled with the possibilities of this years festival series stating: There has been a tremendous amount of artist support for Rock The Bells. Every day there will be a definitive moment in live hip hop history. There will be a number of surprise performances and additional acts planned for each city. The festival series will feature performances by newly announced artists MF Doom, Sage Francis, Blue Scholars, Just Blaze, Black Violin, Afrika Bambaataa, The Dirty Heads and touring DJ Green Lantern. Previously announced artists include A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, Mos Def, De La Soul, Rakim, Method Man & Redman, Raekwon & Ghostface (Cuban Linx), Immortal Technique, Dead Prez, Murs, Kidz In The Hall and special guests, the reunited The Pharcyde. Fans will also see performances by the brightest names in the emerging electro-hip hop scene including Spank Rock, Santogold, Kid Sister, Wale, Jay Electronica and The Cool Kids with hosts B-Real of Cypress Hill and the world renowned Supernatural. Most of this years headliners will be performing with new music, such as Q-Tips Renaissance" and Nass Untitled, in support of upcoming or recently released albums.
