Do you think that she was complicit with Nazi ideology to any meaningful extent?
Do you think that her films that appear to glorify the Nazi party are contextually justifiable?
Do you think she was should be considered a Nazi symphathiser, or just an artist?

Even if she'd been personally entirely apolitical, creating propaganda for the nazis is obviously condemnable. Albert Speer was another such figure, he was a great architect who put his services to Hitler's disposal, and created magnificent buildings -- which signaled the 'greatness' of fascism.
In my opinion he'd deserved every single minute of those 20 years in Spandau for that only, even if he'd not been a minister later on. Thing with art of all kinds is that it's by definition not neutral, but a very powerful form of propaganda.
This is why I'm also for the demolition of religious buildings as a post-revolutionary popular measure, and the more beautiful, the more reason.
