He's a cool director, I must say.

PLATOON really discovers the bullshit of USA men there and their internal struggle, while the enemies (Vietcongs) were more sophisticated than USA proclaimed them.

NATURAL BORN KILLERS - A visual frenzy. Really a top notch in phsycho movies. What is evidently intriguing is the vision of the world.

THE DOORS - Who doesn't know one of the most controversial rock band in the 60's? The right director for the right movie. Val Kilmer was really the best choice and I'd say probably his role of lifetime. The movie should've been more longer, though.

ANY GIVEN SUNDAY - It reveals the rise and the fall of sport players nowadays. Really a description of what happens in the neverending cycle of money, cash and dollar signs.

BORN ON THE 4th OF JULY - excellent description of the aftermath of a normal guy being kicked into Vietnam. It really reveals how the government was playing an old stalinist rule of: QUANTITY.

he reminds a bit of Paul? Lynch, the director of Mulholland drive and others, a bit of a wacko.

Nixon was one of the dumbest movies I've ever seen.

And why isn't this in Chit Chat?

I like the Itchy and Scratchy episode he directed.

It's here because I thought it might start fights.

It still might. I haven't added my two cents yet. ;)
