They both suck - communism&capitalism

Neither of these systems really allows for any thing to happen. They both require for things to be given up, in order to make progress in any direction. Communism destroys the arts, and Capitalism creates inequality. No system is greater than the other the both have major set backs. It's time to create something new, stop wasting your time arguing over an idea that has failed time after time, and cappies should'nt gloat about a system that allows people to starve.

Communism deystroys the arts huh? That is a pretty bold statement to make. I moved to Bulgaria right after the fall of the wall and lived with a family there, and the father was a painter. Did you know that he was a painter, of Russian Icons, during communism? He didn't have to be succesful either. There didn't have to be a current market for his paintings, he could paint without the fear of losing his job because he was taking his time. While I was over there, he explained to me that painting now for profit was 1. unrewarding 2. stressfull and 3. Rushed. He told me his best works were done during communism. He had groups of artist friends, and they all agreed. Some of them taught at Art institutes, some were re-painting the walls of churches to restore history. The beauty was, there wasn't any starving artists and you didn't get famous after you died. That all happened after the fall of communism.

If you look at teh history of democratic socialist we are opposed to both systems

Capitalism: economical inequality

Communism: political inequality


both are class systems wether or not COmmunists want to admit it or will result in a class system

YOU GUYS HAVE FORGOTTEN THE MOST IMPORTANT THING ! And thats COMMUNISM is not for today ! How hard is that to understand !?!

I mean anyone to actually understand the ideas behind communism should know that it wont be succesfull until we no longer need human labor to produce, which means were not nearly as advanced as we need to be for a system as communism, however alot of countries use their policies, but it doesnt make them a communist country... Maybe we should refresh our memories with the Manifesto, and dialectical materialism.

Cappitalism works because people hate equality

Communism is equal because it provides for all

Capitalism is ineqaul because it provides for a few and runs on the back of the poor

Communism does not destroy the arts, Joseph Stalin destroyed the arts.

Don't judge the future in light of the past, don't dismiss the principle on the basis of poor implementation.

But yes, Socialism should lean more towards a Democratic viewpoint. But no so much as to edge towards the mess that is most modern democracies.
