What kind of pamphlets are you after?

I'm not sure whether the problem is one of composition or of mass production. If you already have your "content" the rest is a matter of using the phone book. One proviso: if you're not using a union printer, make sure there's a "Labor Donated" disclaimer at the bottom of the page.

well i havent exactly decided yet, the idea just kind of came to me today, i was thinking of something along the lines of voting for a socialist candidate for the november elections, including reasons why, and something that explains the stance of socialism on major issues that has been of major concern here in the united states. (health care, public education, workers rights)

AK Press (akpress.com) has a bunch of pamphlets... not to mention books, zines, DVDs, and so forth.

You can print them off the internet and then take them to a printshop like Kinkos. Whatever you do, don't go to Revolution Books.

Why would you say not to go to Revolution Books? I'm not an RCP supporter at all but I think it's very sectarian to tell people not to even go to their bookstore...and then encourage people to spend money at a huge capitalist corporation like Kinkos instead?!

On the contrary, I would encourage people to go to Revolution Books. I haven't been to their Cleveland store, but their store in NYC has a diverse selection of left books and materials, not just RCP materials.

There are so few radical bookstores to begin with...just because the RCP has bad politics on many key questions doesn't mean folks shouldn't give credit where credit is due for their bookstores.

well if i dont happen to find what i am looking for then i would like to write my own, design the layout and what-not, so if anyone has any good ideas as to what should be included within the pamphlet that may have any effect on shifting peoples' support towards socialism come the november elections that would be great. thanks for all the web-site suggestions by the way..
