What is the Marxist Scientific Method?

I have been doing some reading into the history of the scientific method, Francis Bacon, Descartes, Hobbes, Maurice Dobb'es refuation of Popper.

And I was curious if there is any work laying out a Marxist view of the scientific method. The Holy Family touches on Franics Bacon and English empricism. Maurice Dobb laid out some opinions in his work. And the Dialectics of Nature is the main Marxist work on science.

The closest work to outlying a Marxist scientific method, is probably Mao's On Practice, which is basically a n application of Francis Bacon to social life.
