View Full Version : Netherlands 31 May: fash march on the south again

The NVU are staging a demonstration in a southern town again. This time, Oss (location (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oss)) is the victim, on the 31rd of May. The scum are going to demonstrate under their very original theme: against Eastern European workers, against neo-liberalism, etc. Oss is close to the borders of Belgium and Germany.

Oss is a particularly notable town, because it is also the stronghold of the Socialist Party (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socialistische_partij), the largest left-wing opposition party. They have been awkwardly silent on the matter so far, but perhaps that could change. The NVU claim to have picked up Oss to present a national-socialist 'alternative' to the SP. As usual, the NVU chairman wants to look respectable and calls on his members not to bring swastikas, NSB symbols, Afrikaner symbols and weapons. But we all know how that goes in practice! :D

SP or not, the Committee Article 1 (named after the non-discrimination article in the Dutch constitution) will be there. Article 1 is the new name of the former Committee No Fascists in Our Town, which also protested against the NVU in Bergen op Zoom in March. At that time, the nazis ended up marching through an immigrant neighbourhood and literally eating shit (http://www.revleft.com/vb/nazi-demo-holland-t70838/index.html)! :D

The Committee will organize a noise demonstration with music, but horns, pans, pots, drums and anything else that can make noise is welcome. Assembly: 31 May, 12 PM, Oss train station. http://www.indymedia.nl/images/mail_small.gif E-Mail: [email protected] (http://www.anonym.to/?mailto:[email protected])

The scum 'chairman' Kusters had a 'discussion' with a Committee member, Niels Minnaard on regional radio a while ago. Kusters flatly ignored the guy who pointed out that his 'movement' is a nazi organization and interrupted: "Yeah, I'd expect him to say that, he's a member of the Communist Youth who likes to walk around with the hammer and sickle." Still, Niels came across pretty well despite having to deal with this red-baiting nazi asshole.

Let's hope this will end just like te last time! Large spontaneous public uprising.

And the fash scum posting on stormfront how they actually saw people complimenting them and making the thumb sign of appreciation... Bullcrap like you never saw before!

Good thing the nazis in Holland ridicule themselves all the time, otherwise we may have even had an equal battle:D.

But still, everybody is welcome! This sort of event is a good possibility to visit the Netherlands and take a taste of our movement. (and Weed;))

Will someone start a fund to buy some glasses for the Great Germanic Leader Kusters??? How the fuck can he not recognize middle fingered salutes and sarcastic 'thumbs up'? :D

Ah yes, thumbs up was the expression I was looking for!

Anyway, hopefully this is going to be fun. Not very smart to go and march trough Oss, one of the final socialist places in the Netherlands...

Nijmegen would be more stupid, anyways i dunno whether Oss is so 'radical' since the SP has quite an anti-immigrant stance. And looking at the 'theme' the NVU is using...
Anyways, i hope our counter-demonstration will be a success like before :).

Something translated from Indymedia:

I just got back, a short report here:

We were legally allowed to have a sound manifestation in front of the station from 11.30 till 12.15. According to the ordinance, we would then be "guided away" by the riot police, away from the NVU at least. The group was about 40 people.

We were good and followed the orders of the police, still assuming that we were going to the edge of the town or something. Then it turned out (200m in front of the police office) that they were planning to arrest us all.

At the police station, we joined arms and were forced out of the group. The remaining part (about 20 people) was bashed onto the square of the Oss police station by the riot police.

One part was put in the police van, another part had to (surrounded by the riot police) wait on that square. After an hour, a tour bus arrived and the part on the square was put onto it.

We were transported to Den Bosch (a nearby city, WM), where we were spread over a bigger and a smaller group in 2 air spaces. We were interrogated 1 by 1 and after most people had been interrogated, a part was loaded back into the police van.

From there, we were 'neatly' returned to Oss station (20 people). The rest was released in groups and had to take the train.

What it comes down to: we were tricked by the police, they lured us right into the cell with an excuse.

Disgusting. Fuck them. And fuck the 'socialist' mayor behind this.

Yeah too bad we were arrested. But still, it was nice to see some Germans on a dutch demo! Thanks for that.

International solidarity! And better luck next time. :star:
