Theory is no match for the realitys that we have seen and are living in, at this present time. Communist theory is nothing with out action to put into play. No one here is in action, you all are hanging on the skirt tail of perhaps one of the only true communist CHE. Your ideals will never bring forth any thing so quit now while your all young. enjoy life don't gripe about it. Communism is dead. In theory communism offers man nothing other than his share, in reality capitalism offers hope, despite the oppression a man with drive can prosper. If he was a good man he would help others.

ever think that, reality starts whith a theory??

in science (one of the biggest realities [i guess]) you have to start with a theory or a dream then it becomes reality. you just have to want it.

Red Celtic I have to hand it to you. You figured out why communism is dead because it's only a theory that no one here, is willing to make a reality. RC thanks.

I never was a communist, I'm a democratic Socialist. Nothing has changed in my beliefs, however being a socialist for me is more of a way of life where I help the poor any way I can, rather than holding true to some long dead writer.

You have a lot of balls to sit there and claim that no one here is in action. I work for the International Action Center, organize demonstrations, and educate people anytime I can.

And how dare you say that our ideals will never bring anything? Who the fuck are you to say something like that? These socialist ideals of peace brought an end to a war. The ideals of justice brought a reform in the government. If it wasn't for the people outside the government with those ideals, how would anything in this country change?

You think those abolitionists just sat down one day and said, "Hey man, nobody wants to free these black people, we should just enjoy life and forget about all those suffering people. Fuck it I have kids to raise. Shit I could use a slave myself."

Read that history book samaniego.

People with a conscience have always made efforts in the intrest of humanity. I made a refrence to the lack of action in the progress of a communist state. I commend you on your efforts, but still see that there is no movement happening here at Che lives. I also would like to thank you for the history lesson. And I have to say I over saw the facts you stated. But it brings, me to say that if those elected had the support of the people then any coup would not be tolerated. Despite the assistance of the US any country that is stable and independent would over come and obstacle like this if the people supported it.

well I'd like to see you try to create a society of peace and equality while trying not be overthrown by another government 200 times more powerful than you could ever imagine. So powerful that even the will of the people was considered and irrevalent factor.

The U.S. government does not care for peaceful communists, and that was shown when the U.S. government supported Pinochet. Read a book that just came out, The Pinochet Files, and you will clearly see how there was no hope to overcome the most powerful nation in the world.

In fact, the time period under Pinochet was so horrible, a new word was invented to describe what happend to the people who died or disappeared, los desaparecidos (The Disappeared).

This is basically what Samaniego said.

LOL. So suttle a reply, but had force and sense.

By the way, I am in no way agreeing with Samaniego's comments, I just found it fascinating that both, Samaniego and Bluerev said the same thing and complete opposite beliefs.
