Nice one on the Belle&Sebastian Zim!
Being a pretentious bastard I prefer vinyl, but I'll give what is probably in some respects my 'top ten':

1. The Smiths 'Meat Is Murder'
2. Belle & Sebastian 'If You're Feeling Sinister'
3. Radiohead 'Kid A'
4. Sufjan Stevens 'Seven Swans'
5. The Fall 'The Unutterable'
6. Casiotone For The Painfully Alone 'Twinkle Echo'
7. The Clash 'London Calling'
8. Daniel Johnston 'Yip/Jump Music'
9. Sonic Youth 'Washing Machine'
10. Idlewild '100 Broken Windows'

I really want to make a top 100 list now.

Fucking mint choices. Most of those were on my origional list before I slimmed it down. I would however hesitate about 'Meat is Murder', over other Smiths albums, because the origional version of the album was too short because it didn't include 'How Soon is Now', and to be honest I never liked the title track.

I also had the Fall's 'Hex Enduction Hour' on the origional list, despite a few highly questionable lyrics. I can never tell whether Mark E. Smith is a racist and homophobe.

I see what you mean about the length, however I would definitely list it as the original album rather than the CD repackage with 'How Soon Is Now' just because I feel its out of place in the original mix. In my opinion its better than The Queen Is Dead because its more immediate and challenging, especially towards the end. Though at the end of the day, did the Smiths ever do a bad album?

You can also add that for the Fall :) If I did a top 100 list i'd have to include about 6 of their LPs.

Led Zeppelin
