I was curious if any comrades could recommend resources re: planned economies.
I知 not so much interested in theoretical works, I知 reasonably familiar with the theory behind planning (and the problems associated with it, namely, insufficient data gathering and processing capabilities, as well as developing the proper models to model an economy, all of which I think either have been, or can be, overcome with existing information technology), but rather the workings of real world planned economies. Especially the more contemporary stuff, i.e. Cuba and Belarus (and any other states I知 forgetting).
I知 specifically interested in whether or not, and if so how, these economies incorporate computers in their planning process.
