I have analyzed the article of the KPRF's newspaper "Pravda".
The Pravda published a short summary of the most striking figures describing the present -day sutuation in the country:

During the ten years of Yeltsin’s reforms the population of the country has decreased by seven million people.

The industrial and agricultural production has fallen during the same period in two times.

By consumption of large calories the USSR was the 6-th in the world, Russia now is in this respect takes the 42-nd place.

56 percent of all foodstuffs are imported from abroad. Up to $14 billion are spent for these purposes yearly.

In the year 2000 ,122 thousand consignments of imported foodstuffs were found defective.

During the years of reforms wages and pensions increased 10 to 12 times while prices for food, medicine, transport and communal services grew 30 to 100 times.

23 thousand institutions for children of pre-school ages on the territory of the former USSR have been closed.

300 thousand people perished from poisonings, accidents, catastrophes and criminal attacks.

Unfortunately all this facts shows us the bad situation of the Russian Federation. Capitalism destroyed the country from the inside.
