Utopia: The final stage of human society, where each individual obtain's what they desire. Well maby in this age a true utopia is impposible but how close could we get to the utopia? What sort of government would be established in a near utopian society? Is it possible that the answer is Capitalism? What if there is something in capitalism that the marxist don't see? The same thing could be said about marxism. Is there something in marxism that the capitalist don't see?

I believe a near utopian society would be marxism. A society with no currency and the comodities are free. Where all workers work for nothing and in retern they are supplied with everything they need. ''from each acording to his abilities for each acording to his needs''-Mr.Marx. wether or not you agree with that, it dosn't matter. Heres my question for the capitalists: Do u really think that Capitalism is the Utopia? probably not. If you don't than what are you fighting for? Don't you think that eventually capitalism will be overthrown for a utopian or a near utopian government? I know your going to say that your not defending capitalism from the utopian government but your deffending it from a worst form of government than capitalism like stalinism, fascism ect. Why dosen't the capitalist governments at least try and move towards a utopia instead of staying with the current government system witch obviously isn't working?

please don't make fun of my spelling. i would take time to spell check but i really got to go sleep. maby ill edite the spelling errors later

Honestly, I think communism's a great idea. And yes, I think it's the nearest to Utopia that I can think of. Perhaps it would be utopia.
But what I've seen of the human race so far gives me little hope to suggest that the human nature would support communism. Thus, basic human nature must be repressed before communism can truly work.
I think in the absence of communism, capitalism is the next best thing.

The problem with getting to utopia is that there are too many nasty people around. When people start being nice to each other, (maybe they will after a few generations of socialism, and the competition is just for fun as oposed to survival and greed) then we will have a stab at it.

The capitalists would of course support capitalism as a utopia (because they are nuts.) Of course, it would be a utopia for some people, i.e. the bougeuois. They have everything they need. (and dont even need to work) It is at the expensive of everyone else though.

The question you are posing is purely materialistic.

Why they don“t fight for something better? They have what they need at the moment. Human is alsways fighting for the moment and not for future. Workers do not get concerned about what kind of cars will be run in next world society, they are concerned with the conditions right now, in capitalism. If that applies for working people, it also applies to capitalists. They are concerned only with the present situation and because they can get everything it can be gotten, they do not have thoughts on better society.

Workers do fight for, as you say “utopian“ society, but not directly. They are fighting for it, because of the sorry state in capitalism, because of sorry sate in present situation.

In every society the one who fights for higher society is the oppressed one at the moment and not the one who was oppressed millions of years ago.

Of course even this statement is purely conditional. One who has everything can also starts fighting for higher society if he sees that what he gets now is not what he could have gotten, or because he is somehow connected with the oppressed massess and sympathizes with them if he gets disillusioned by the curent sistem (which brings no progress or slow progress,..).....
