Anyone care to share any techniques on how to hotwire a car.
I need info for a Ford Taurus 1994.
Thanks
(This is for personal use on my own car, my starters busted and I'm broke.)

If your starter is busted, hotwiring won't work. (It might not work in that car, anyway.)
Hotwiring bypasses a particular switch (the ignition switch) enabling electricity to reach the starter, cranking the engine to start it.

cut and attach the blue wire to the red wire..then tap the yellow wire on them... (i think thats it, im a little drunk)
:D
i hope that works for you.
if your sparkplugs are shot then you are fucked.

I don't know much about cars but it seems to just be the ignition switch (Now that I know thats the proper term.)
I used to be able to crank it without using the key but yesterday I had someone move my car for me and when I got back It refused to work.
What panels should I remove to access the appropriate wires.
Thanks

usually on the underside of the steering wheel. think there should only be one panel and it sometimes takes quite a bit of force so have fun

You should find out what is broken first off. Hotwiring does not always work when some parts are broken.
