Hello,

I found this page recently and figured I belong here.

My grandparents were partisans. I am not radically-minded myself, but I strongly believe in the ideas of communism. Being a computer programmer and having actually lived in a socialist country myself for a while (until they changed the system) it is not hard for me to see the advantages of such a system.

I have been a member of the new Communist Party here but have left it since as it's leader failed to display any understanding of the communist ideology.

Being relatively young, I hope to learn more about communism here. I am here, after all, amongst good people.

EDIT: On "relatively young"... I realized upon looking around that I am older than most of you! But compared to any seasoned worker I am young so...

Just curious, but what Socialist country were you in?

good to have you on board. it would be good to hear your thoughts on communism from a slovenian perspective.

I'm not sure if I really got enough experience about it. I was relatively young when it all became "the old thing".

What I know was that a lot of the things about it were very good for the people .. such as getting an apartment guaranteed when you had a job, etc. What I liked best of course was that you could get (C64) software for free on the radio... funny how things turn around with the internet, socialist principles pop up everywhere where people really have a choice.
