I agree, it isn't one to be taken lightly. I support people having the right to make the decision themselves, no matter what time in the pregnancy it is, they should have the decision. This doesn't equate with your rather imaginative and verbose analogy.

What do you mean? People will continue to have sex for pleasure in a stateless society, and the contraceptive methods they use will still fail, or may not be used correctly, such that unwanted pregnancies will occur - which, in turn, means that women will want to have abortions. There is no "right" number of abortions - the only way to ensure that no women are forced to give birth against their wishes is to allow all women to access abortion on demand, at every stage of pregnancy.

The point he's making (which you obviously failed at getting) is that being pro-choice is a fundamental tenet of Marxism. You can't advocate worker's emancipation when you deny over 50% of workers basic autonomy.
