YES YES YES. I just came up with a counter arguement to explain how Nefertiti was white.
Nefertiti (like Cleopatra) was not an Egyptian Queen. In Egyptian history there were 3 periods, The Egyptian Period, The Greco-Roman Period and the Pheonician Period. Nefertiti was a Greco-Roman Queen not an Egyptian Queen, the only Egyptian Queen was Hetspshut.

EGYPTIAN WRITINGS ABOUT BLACKS
The White Egyptians left many written references to the Black population in Nubia and in their own midst. In fact, at one point, their writings record a law that forbade Blacks from entering their country at all.
Is complete bullshit because the Egyptians also forbade whites (Hitites) from entering Egypt.

Amenhotep IV succeeded his father Amenhotep III in 1379 BC. He attempted a religious revolution to the monotheistic cult of the sun god Aton. Eventually he changed his name to Akhnaton and founded a new city 300 miles north of Thebes at Amarna, which became the center of the new religion. Nefertiti happened to be Akhnaton's wife. Incidently, the Greco-Roman period began roughly a thousand years later with the Macedonian kings Alexander the Great (III), Philip Arhidaeus, and Alexander IV. Then there was the Ptolemic dynasty which included Ptolemy I to Ptolemy XV as well as Queen Bernice IV and Queen Cleopatra VII.
Anyway, the Egyptians were probably of a semitic stock with some white and black admixture or something of the like.
Why, do you care so much about a 3,000 year old Egyptian queen's skin color to start a whole thread about it?

No, this belongs in this forum for reasons touched upon by CI. This definetely provides an example of liberal thinking.

I'm Egyptian personally, and I think that Egypt is quite the universal melting pot as far as races go. generally the people are of semetic/mediterranean (non-anglo white) stock. and then as you progress south the nubians are darker skinned but still not black. The combination of influences from all the surrounding and adjacent regions created quite a nice blend in the area.

Yeah, I noticed that when I was in Egypt. Our tour guide was quite dark skinned but there were people who were even darker, Then there were people who looked a lot like Europeans. Then at St Catharine's Monastary, there were ex-patriots from lots of countries living there. There is just such a range of people living there.
