The New Communist Movement was a political movement in the 1960's. It was part of the greater movement known as the New Left. It was generally speaking a Marxist-Leninist movement but with a Tankie attitude towards socialist states and they mainly took the Trotskyite line of upholding "deformed worker's states". But remember, there were many organizations all of which had distinct lines.

The NCM is infamous for the intense sectarianism.

Ancient History.
In that case we need a New New Communist Movement to reinvent socialism.

Sounds like you're digging the hole deeper rather than climbing out.

The New left in my opinion was a horrible move, they pretty much gave up socialism, and the workers, and threw everything to individual seperate liberation movements.

What we need to do (In the United States at least) Is go back to the 10s, 20s and 30s when the Left in America was doing the right thing in my opinion.

Since we cant go back in time we should start trying to bring socialism into the twenty-first century. Social conditions are completely different now and the left has to recognise that and evolve. We are supposed to be the progressives.
