why are people obsessed with the lyceum

Why in every other post do i see a referencee to the Lyceum.org? It's always "come join", or somebody talking about how they just joined blah blah. It's not that good of a site it's just a message board with a higher ratio of Racist nazi's and Libertarian free-marketeer nazi's than socialists or leftists. I think a good idea for a multi-political board would be a site with lots of articles and information from both sides, and monitoring of the political board so we can make sure republicans and racist capitalists aren't creating multiple user names (freepers, i suspect the new capitalists here is that stromn norman or whatever the hell his name is).

Was it founded by a leftist or something? i dont understand why it's so popular.

We can argue with capitalists here, there are new ones, and all capitalists spout out the same ideas as the next one. all of their ideas are dumb and pretty much the same thing that they have taken from a website or simpley copied and pasted from a website.

Now, the Lyceum..........yikes. I won't get too into it now, but I'll say that the most hilarious thing I took away from that site is the LAME-LAME-LAME, obnoxious giant-sized avatars they've created for themselves. It's like, all fancy computer graphics, and they say their names in big, slanted block letters. :) It has all the class of something you'd see at a WWF wrestling match. Seriously. They think they're super heroes or something (you'll just have to go there to see it for yourself).

And also, Christ there's a lot of racist shit there. That turned me off right away. Those people aren't worth "debating" with. They need a doctor. Or a fatal disease.
