The further right you go regarding capitalism; the further you believe in developing your own personal ambitions and interests. Instead of needing, you find yourself wanting... forgetting the perils of others.
It's so simple. Be a capitalist and be out for yourself, go in for the 'survival of the fittest' approach and ignore all those who can't keep up.
Or: be a leftist and care a little more for your fellow man. Jeez, it's not difficult.

pretty self righteous to assume capitalists don't care about their fellow man. I think bill gates employment of thousands of workers does more for humanity then che guevarras hard on for causing civil wars in other peoples nations.
In anycase capitalists care about other people, they simply understand that people are not children, its best to let them help themselves.

I think Bill Gates employment of thousands of workers has very little to do with philantropy. By all accounts
he ruthlessly persues personal wealth, and he would not have it without workers producing computers and workers selling them for him. Yet is not really him to blame but the system that allows him to become mega rich on the backs of his employees and those in distribution.

Hey Augusto, you need to superimpose a bullet hole over Che's forehead. I think that would add to the fact you're using a Che avatar.

Didn't Augusto once say he'd rather live in Castro's Cuba than Batista's? I may be wrong, but I think it was him. All these right-wingers run together, you know.

the thing is peaceniKKKed, should you judge people on their intentions or their effect on the world. Sure bill gates does not do his job out of any altruistic impulse, but it still does more for humanity then say Che, who had noble intentions, but brought only death and destruction.
How many cubans were leaving Batista's cuba? Last time I checked 30 percent of the Cubans live outside of Cuba. The people have spoken...with their feet.
EIther of you have yet to answe what you'd like to see done, what socialism entails and what you'd do to implement it.

Good point. History can't be proven wrong, it has been shown that capitalism puts the greedy people at the top instead of the true workers and inventors.
