James,
The statistical data you referred me to, have nothing to do with the previous topic of depleted uranium.
Note: Correlation does not necessarily mean causation.
I can provide you with evidence that election outcomes decide the superbowl winner with significant accurracy in an election year. Would you make your decisions based off of that rather than the actual performance of the rival teams? I asked for scientific data to support the claims that depleted uranium presented a considerable risk to, either our troops or the Iraqi people living in affected areas. You offer me statistics that refer to infant mortality rates, fertility rates, adult literacy, and health care in Iraq.
The cause for these declines could be the result of numerous variables. They might mean that depleted uranium is affecting the indigenous population. They might mean that US imposed sanctions have had drastically changed the lives of the Iraqis. Finally, they might mean that Saddam Hussien is using the death and misfortune of his people to rally Anti-American sentiment.
I asked you to get specific values that would end the depleted uranium debate, but you tried to evade the issue by presenting statistics you think supports your claim. What did you do, search for Beta + Iraq in a search engine and come up with that source? I will give them credit. They did an excellent job fitting a model to the known data points. That person is a good statistician. In case you weren't aware, the beta values that they use do not refer to nuclear radioactive emmisions. They are numerical coefficients used to fit a polynomial to the known data points, nothing more.
The topic still remains open to debate.

Do you have anything to add to this, James, or are you too busy making an ass of yourself?

Its a take from Blue Peter, a show where the presenters often made stuff usually with loo rolls and all of the time with Sticky back plastic. Its a cool catch phrase
