This is an idea for a logo i did today for an anarchist communist group, what do people think? (More about the image than the text but...)

Red-outline on the image maybe? I thought that might be a bit too glary?

The bird is the red-tailed black cockatoo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_tailed_Black_Cockatoo), an anarchist-communist bird :glare:

It looks good man! I would avoid a stroke on the image, otherwise it'll make it a bit *too distinct...

And maybe shorted the distance of the shadow on the text?

Indeed , or i wouldn't even use a shadow at all , it fucks up the whole piece. And opposed to other opinions i would give it a very thin red outline. Use like 0.5 and post the finished result if you can...

Right, so i got rid of the shadow (see current avatar) - better?

The shadow was actually set pretty short as is.

On the stroke thing, i just had a look at it again with a red stroke (the lowest i can do is 1, no values below this are allowed in program) - and i stand by my original opinion, it doesn't look good.

Brainstorming, I don't know how putting the text above the wings would work? It was something that popped in to mind when looking at the image... But I think that really it'd probably look unabalanced between the top and bottom.

Yeah , you're right about the outline , tried it myself and didn't like it that much. Still feels like something's missing... An eye or a shadow eyepatch (if you know what i mean) or something like that...Have no clue actually:D

You could maybe change the colour of the text, grey and black maybe and increase the font size somewhat. Then try to give it some depth and move it over the lower portion of the bird so that the C and T are over the birds tail. Giving the look as if the bird is spreading its wings over the acronym.

T'is a beauty, and it reminds me of a cockatiel I owned before it sadly died on Christmas. I know Jesus isn't the son of God and is merely a delusional nut, and God doesn't exist, but if it was otherwise, they're both bastards. T_T
