What is it?

Was a movement of policitized artists that gatherered around the Situationist International. They tried to make a politic surrounding the emancipation of "everyday" life. They based themselves on some anarchist and marxist theoreticians.

They did write some good stuff, but I think as a political group there were pretty much a worthless bunch of elitist artists.
