South African dockers are refusing to unload a Chinese cargo ship carrying 77 tonnes of small arms destined for Zimbabwe.

Good for them, just goes to show how workers can unite and fight for altruistic reasons. I'm happy every time I see things like this, workers resisting authority.

Yeh, I don't really see a problem with this at all. You have to understand that not all of us, I would probably even say not most of us here, actually politically support the Chinese state as it is, whether we would militarily side with it is a different matter.

This is good to know. Mugabe, the capitalist hack, would love to use these weapons on the workers, small farmers, and urban poor of Zimbabwe.
China, as a capitalist country, obviously wants to invest in and get resources from Zimbabwe. They are in conflict with the US and the EU - China backs Mugabe, the West back the MDC.
