I need photoshop, but i can't afford the software disc. Is there a link to a freeware version somewhere? (Preferably not one of those shitty temporary ones that expire after 30 days)

There are opensource alternatives such as GIMP - but personally i'm not a fan.

Some people illegally pirate photoshop by downloading it from the bittorrent network. Obviously this is illegal and I don't recommend you do this. But if you're interesting in bittorrent in general check out http://netforbeginners.about.com/od/peersharing/a/torrenthandbook.htm

For anyone who was pirating photoshop, torrents would probably be the most efficient way to do so. Some people download the trial and crack it, which is just as illegal...

is it really that expensive, so you can't afford it? whoa, i never knew how much the price for photoshop installer is:blushing:. what we do here in my hometown is if we want such installer, we just lend it from some friend, install it, find the crack/serial number....and then you can start using it.:lol:

Yes, for the latest version it's bloody extortionate (in the hundreds of £s)
However, you can usually get 8 or thereabouts for around £20
