Trotsky's My Life is fantastic, as is Memoirs of a Revolutionary by Victor Serge.

I haven't read Homage to Catalonia yet (it's on my list to read, though) so I can't recommend books like it, but I also loved Trotsky's autobiography...I don't know if you're into African American civil rights radicals, but Bobby Seale's Seize the Time is very good, as is Malcom X's autobiography, if you haven't read those yet.

If you liked HOMAGE TO CATALONIA, you might try THE ROAD TO WIGAM PIER by the same author.

Biko by Donald Wood is very good. There's also a film by the same name.
