Because Africa was less crowded than Europe, therefore ideas don't spread as fast. Also there is growing evidence that Africa was not as backward as it was said to be by westerners eg. Zimbabwe, Benin.

You know? It's funny, but Western (White) history doesn't talk about China too much. China was far more advanced, technologically, than Europe in the 1400's.

Read about China's history and government. Then read about Europe. Get the facts, folks, because we all know your high school history class didn't give them to you, and your college history profs were, most likely, teaching you Western History, regardless of what the course was called. Get the facts, compare the two, and then make a decision.

well Leif Erikson (the red) wasnt the first to visit america! he was the first that settled in America! actualy America was visited by many bouts seeking for fish that gone too way from land! soo the fishermens started to say storys about other worlds! Leif Ericson was the first to settle in America (Actually he settled in what today is Canada) he had a farm in Island but all of his cattle died due to the cold soo he packed up and visited america and stayed there! he called it "Vinland" but he runned from America cause he and his men were afraid of the natives that were possessed (acording to them) the natives were fiercing warriors and keeped the vikings away from the interior!
