very interesting, i agree with what the owner said about the workers not abiding by any ideology; simply managing them selves. and by the way "caring capitalist" is an oxymoron.:)

I have the feeling that this workplace structure is more common in the corporate world than one might think. The means of mass production are both very well capitalized *and* minimalized -- especially with the use of PCs / laptops -- so that all that's left is the labor question.

As long as a company has their shit together they'll most likely attract venture capital -- the rest would be the popularity contest of which-dog-to-bet-on-at-the-racetrack, in terms of additional finance capital....

The world (of finance) is coming to an end, anyway, so all of this discussion seems kind of trivial -- whatever's left of the U.S.'s grand globalization schemes of the 20th century are now decidedly devolving back to village-like regions of cohesion, around the world.
