I have recently been given a research paper in which I have to choose two groups of people who are in conflict, research how it began, how it has progressed, and why they are in conflict. I chose to do mine on the bourgeoisie and the proletariat. It's due the 25th of April.
If anyone has any credible, informational resources (preferably academic in nature, but i won't get my hopes up) or even some interesting ideas and perspectives to put in the paper, i would appreciate it a whole lot.
Thanks comrades

hmm I would suggest doing research from a sociological Textbook(make sure its about ones with the Conflict Theorist Perspective). The reason I say this is that I have been purchasing sociological books from the late 60s through 90s and have become aware that the conflict theorist brand of sociology is strongly influenced by Marxism. Check those out they are very interesting and show research and reasons for the stratification in society from a class warfare perspective, they also dive into virtually everything you can think of Labor Unions, Globalization, Sexism, Racism, Ageism, etc.
Check This out of the library if you can: Sociology by Richard T. Schaefer and Robert P. Lamm

Jesus, how long is that paper supposed to be?
It's not a bad idea, but I would focus on the two groups in a particular part of the world.

^^ I'd rather not. It's not like i need to document the whole history of the struggle, year by year, country by country. If it comes down to half assing it the day before, then that's what i'll do, but i'm more interested in this.
It has no set length.
