are you talking about the plan to build up a guard wall surrounding the WB? If so, great, give them there own chunk of land, not some reserve cut off from neighbouring settlements and let the Palestinans start building some infrastructure, some descent schools, educate their kids instead of teaching them the value of Allah and an explosive, GIVE THEM WHAT THEY WANT! Their own piece of the pie.

He's talking about Israeli tanks rolling into the town of Jinin

Capitalist Imperial, you fail to realize that 60 years of oppressing Palestinians with tanks has resulted in 60 years of terrorists exploding buses full of civilians. I guess you like to chase your own tail. Lucky for you that you're probably not living in Israel.

How can you people support the Palestinians? Is it not clear to everyone that they have lost the right to their grievance by killing children and commiting war crimes? How Israel defends itself against terrorism is hardly equivalent to the terrorism they have faced. Why don't you, so called, bleeding hearts go bag and tag the pieces of the little children who died today. Come back and then tell me who is in the right.
The fact remains, the U.S. government has been giving the Palestinians excessive amounts of money to buy the peice. It was understood that the Palestinian Authority would use the money to build infrastructure. Instead they have spent it to fund terrorist organizations, like Hezbola. Meanwhile, their people sit in a pile of rubble. This is typical of a welfare state. Opportunity is always wasted by the recipients.
Let Israel defend itself, you Jew hating bastards who equate terrorism with legitimate military operations. The Israelis are showing too much restraint.

War Crimes? how can someone who supports Israel talk about war crimes after Jenin? and why don't those who support Israel go sift through the rubble in a refugee camp and bag and tag the dead Palestinian children killed by Israeli tank shells? And there is no conclusive proof that the government of the Palestinian Authority supports Hezbollah. Their "government" (if it has enough resources and organization to be called a government) has not helped the starvation of their people, but what has any government successfully done to feed and clothe it's whole population. And in response to your final comment, I do not hate Jews. My grandfather is a Polish Jew who lost his entire family to the Holocaust. However, the fact that a people was oppressed in the past does not justify oppression in their name. Vide has said most of what else needs to be said. I will close by saying that terrorism is despicable, whether it is committed by a misguided government or a misguided freedom fighter.

"Eradicating terrorism"? Come on, do you honestly believe that bullshit? Do you honestly think that this will be the end of the conflict in Israel/Palestine? It will never end. Both sides will continue to fight until their little conflict over ownership of their tiny little strip of land gets so blown out of proportion that nuclear winter overcomes the planet and destroys every trace of human life that has ever and will ever have existed, leaving the planet to be ruled by cockroaches.

Nothing either side does should be anything to celebrate, even if you're a Zionist cappie, and especially if you're a communist who believes in the abolition of land ownership in general. But whatever, that's my two cents.

Well, I think its already out of proportion, but neither country has the nuclear capability to usher in a nuclear winter, and in their present state I don't think any nuclear power will give israel or palestine nukes.

It's actually rumored that Israel does have nukes. Palestine isn't really a country, so it's not really logical that a nuclear power would give them nukes. But either way, Israel's too close to the Palestinian Authority to nuke it.

Israel is a nuclear power. Their amount and type of their arsenal remains classified. The reason they were supplied was to deter the Arab nations from attacking like they did three times since Israels inception. Like all nuclear weapons, they are meant to deter aggression. Why do you think that the Arab world is using terrorism against Israel? Much like the terrorism against the U.S. their enemies fear reprisal, because they known they would be decimated with little trouble. Instead of a stand up fight, they prefer to hide behind terrorist organizations, which have no clear tie to one nation. That is why the best response to terrorism remains the retaliation on the 'usual suspects'. If the U.S. gets attacked, we should strike the nations listed by our State Department as supporters of terrorism. Somailia, Libya, Iran, Iraq, Cuba, North Korea, Lebenon are all sited as state sponsors of terrorism. This should be done directly after the fact, without hesitation. Knock them out one by one, teach the world what happens to the enemies of the U.S.

And what about the massive civillian casualties that would come from said nuclear strikes?

Of course, they couldn't hit the Gaza or West Bank. Israel would suffer from the fall out. If those people chose to support corrupt governments, they could hardly be considered innocent. It is always unfortunate when children die as a result of collateral damage, but their is a difference between that and terrorism. We can not let our enemies use women and children as human shields.

Here is some information on Israel's nuclear capability.
The source is listed on the bottom of the post.

The State of Israel is the 4th largest military power in the world. The State is believed to possess the largest and most sophisticated nuclear arsenal outside of the 5 declared nuclear powers- the USA, Russia, France, China and the UK.
A nuclear reactor and plutonium production facility was built by France back in the late 1950's and early 60's in the southern desert of Israel called the Negev Nuclear Research Centre, or simply "Dimona".
Since that time, the state has subsequently developed an extensive array of tactical nuclear weapons, nuclear artillery shells and nuclear-tipped medium range ballistic missiles (the Jericho 1 and 2). Arsenal estimates range in the order of between 200-2000 warheads- many of them FIRST STRIKE weapons, most of them nuetron bombs, designed to maximize human kill ratio and minimize physical damage, since Israel is such a small nation.
The United States provides the State of Israel with an annual US$4 billion in financial and military aid- by far the largest recipient of US foreign aid of any country in the world. Extensive nuclear and military collaboration has occured between the two nations since Israel's birth as a nation in 1948.

Brilliant one line post CI! YES!! Let us teach those naughty terrorists a lesson by bombaring cities where they might be, (They just might, we don't know for sure, but they MIGHT! So hell, I guess it's worth a shot!) in an attempt to irradicate them! GREAT IDEA MAN! Now, not only do they hate Israel even MORE, but they'll have nothing to loose, because what little they had, will be occupied/sold/or destroyed in the provess of this invasion!

So they're eradicating terrorism how exactly?? By being terrorists themselves?? And they really think that by increasing Palestinian oppression they will eradicate terrorism??

Israel isn't the terrorists here. Israel has a duty to protect its citizens, I don't know a better way then this. I mean its obvious diplomacy doesn't work because the fuckwads that pull this bull shit aren't part of the bigger picture, they are your everyday Palestinian.

Rob

yes, and Israel protects it citizens by provoking a response from the terrorists that aren't uniformed. I thought that the definition of a terrorist was anyone who targeted civillians to spread an ideology or other goal.

I just saw this sick thread, and i had to respond. CI, you are a goddamn fascist. "eradicating terrorism"? yeah, i think that stoping people from coming to the hospitals, shooting innocent civilians, is the best way to fight terrorism. and of course those settlers(that have become some sort of quasi militia)are not harassing the palestinian people at all and always treat them like angels(sarcasm). and here is an example of the way israel fights terrorism
