This story is unhelpful. Even if it is true (very debatable) this is a very isolated incident, especially as many other religious pressure groups are up to the same stuff (the catholics know this trick by rote). All it serves to do is increase British fears of the "Other", and as we have seen in this thread it adds ammunition to the shrill Socialist Wahhabi Party spokespeople who are attempting to paint any criticism of Islam's reactionary elements as racist.

Also it is a good idea to consider that the Daily Heil is not known for its journalistic integrity.

Does it matter who complained? Muslim, Christian; it could have been a Martian for all I care! The fact remains that this subject should not be introduced to children of this age and we should be thankful to anyone who cares enough to say so. Don't turn this into a race story when it clearly isn't.
