What are peoples' thoughts here on Raul Castro? Is Communist Cuba ready to collapse? There have been rumblings of him giving more freedom to private enterprise, which I'm sure will have Fidel rolling in his grave as soon as he's in it...

Why would an "anarcho-communist" call Castro a Communist?

there is more then one "type" of communism. To be a communist you don't have to follow one set person, Sickle-A probably realizes this.
As for Cuba I'm not sure, I hope it's all rumors but, only time will tell.

Before, I always had the idea that Raul Castro was more "marxist" since he and che were the "radical" ones in Fidel's guerrilla. But now that he's on power, he seems to have revisionists tendencies.

Anarcho-Communists believe that the state is bad and should be minimal or non existant. They would not support a Revisionist or even an actual Marxist-Leninist state as legitimate.

As long as he allows a freakin election and un-does the assault on freedom that his brother lead, I'll be happy. The more lose the state becomes... the easier it is to abolish it:)

Legitimate state is an oxymoron.

I would discuss this with you but it would be a waste of my time to try and convince another anarchist idealist that pseudo-liberal sentamentalism won't liberate the working class.:)
If you'd like to make a real argument instead of a silly statement backed by nothing, I will happily answer you.
