As the NUT say, any wage increase that is below the rate of inflation is a pay cut. The union movement in teaching is split, and despite the NUT being the largest by far of the teaching unions, there is a chance of scabs turning up to work. Therefore all students in the UK should stay home that day, I certainly wont be in college on the 24th of April.
