Ted Lindsay is the reason why nhl hockey workers have so much today and get paid so much.

Very good person who fought against player exploitation.

Everyone iinho should know of him.

He has in addition helped with the Olympics, the Special Olympics, etc.

He will be 83 years old this year and he is still helping people, he even runs the Ted Lindsay Foundation, dedicated to finding a cure for Autism and heping people with autism.

He is one special man. He deserves to be placed with Gandhi, Mandela, and others who have done similar things to what he did.

He was known as "Terrible Ted" because of his aggressiveness in the hockey arenas, when he played. But he is really a marshmellow and a big teddy bear (pun intended haha)

no i wouldnt necessarily say that.

He was a revolutionary in the sense that he fought against feudalism in hockey to be replaced with a different system.

I dont know if he is against capitalism per se but he is definitely against feudalism.

many thousands of people live much better lives now thanks to his work.

of course capitalism isnt the best system, thats why we think eventually it has to be replaced.

Even if Lindsay wasnt a revolutionary, he acted like one. fighting for one system to be replaced by another, now he is calling for more complete changes in the system, he wants NHL commissioner Gary Bettman to be removed.
