View Full Version : Would this work well as a tshirt design?

My friend is setting up his own tshirt design shindig and asked me to come up with a design for him to rock on a tee... I was just messing around with a few of my works seeing what would work as a tee, and I thought maybe this...

I narrowed it down to two possibilities; which do you think is better? Or do you not think it works at all?

The one on the right would wrap around the side slightly...

To see it more up close, you can click the image and that'll take you to the piece I originally took the design from...

Thankye

The first one looks really cool, it draws the attention to the design more.

I don't like it on a white background, but I can't think of the right color.

I think the one on the right looks good too, but I think maybe a black t-shirt would be better than white?

I like the one on the right better. But it makes the rest of the shirt look kinda plain.

Sweet design though, i wouldn't mind buying one of those.

I will give it to you, it doesn't look half bad - although I'm always slightly resilient to wearing black tshirts... Maybe charcoal as opposed to absolute black though?

ignore the dodgy outlines!

Man, what a nice t-shirt. I like the one on the right, although I would add something in the middle, any ideas? I would really like one of those!

Not sure what else to put in the middle - I don't want to make it 'too' busy... Maybe like my friend's brandname but then again i was thinking of having that diagonally along the tiananmen image...

Anyone any ideas what to put in the middle?
