Hi! Finally getting around to enlisting on this board.
I'm an anarchist-communist from Boston, USA. I am a paid-up member of the Northeast Federation of Anarchist-Communists, currently between jobs, and packing up for a move or two this year.
My wife and I have been helping edit and publish NEFAC's English-language theoretical magazine, "The Northeastern Anarchist." I am presently a bit involved in a tenant organizing campaign focusing on the immediate effects of the foreclosure crisis. In the past I have been involved in opposition to police brutality, countering far-right groups, and labor solidarity.
My current political interests are: contingent work; the fragmentation of the US left during the 1970s; the composition of the "white working class" in the US Northeast and Rust Belt; Italian workerist Marxism; the labor process; primitive accumulation; inner-ring/workingclass suburbs; the "professional-managerial class"; the anti-Chinese movement in the 19th century American West; mass credit; mass transit; and antifascism.
I post as "MJ" on AnarchistBlackCat.org and, decreasingly, LibCom.org. I am trying to make myself blog. [Links removed, sensible policy I guess!]
Hoping to run into old and new comrades here, and learn something from the debates.
